The guys didn't have any old clothes to paint in, so they decided to paint in the nude, as not to ruin their clothes. I don't think any paint ever made it to the brushes or the wall. Once the paint was open, the slinging and pouring began. I guess I have to be more specific as to which canvas to paint.
